Legacy Lot Labeling Process

We have two main options for printing lot labels and beginning down the path of inventory accuracy.

Self-Serve

SKU-by-SKU targeted labeling and counting.

  1. Locate product using the Product Search tool.
  2. Select the SKU within the product family.
  3. Select Inventory Lots near the bottom of the screen.
  4. Select lot row and click Reprint.
  5. Reprint the number currently displayed as on-hand inventory.
  6. Go to location and apply labels to product.
  7. Move quantity to true racking location using the handheld console.
    1. Scan lot ID.
    2. Select originating container.
    3. Select Move or Move All as appropriate.
    4. Scan destination container.
  8. EXTRA LABELS — Logical quantity was greater than physical quantity.
    1. Use Inventory Search tool to adjust inventory down in appropriate container.
    2. Tear up remaining labels once inventory decrement is completed.
  9. NOT ENOUGH LABELS — Physical quantity was greater than logical quantity.
    1. Bring unlabeled product back to workstation.
    2. Using Inventory Search, gain additional quantity.
    3. Right-click on the lot and jump to SKU XXXX; this will take you to the PIM.
    4. Select Inventory Lots near the bottom of the screen.
    5. Select lot row and click Reprint.
    6. Reprint additional labels as necessary.
      1. Note:  You cannot reprint more than was originally received, and may need to reprint in small chunks as a workaround.

RetailOps-Assisted

With sufficient preparation, RetailOps staff can print labels for you en masse.

  1. RetailOps can send chunks of lot labels to a printer at your facility.  This is the part that requires a bit of preparation on the RetailOps side.
  2. Separate labels based on SKU/lot ID.
  3. Go to location and apply labels to product.
  4. Move quantity to true racking location using the handheld console.
    1. Scan lot ID.
    2. Select originating container.
    3. Select Move or Move All as appropriate.
    4. Scan destination container.
  5. EXTRA LABELS — Logical quantity was greater than physical quantity.
    1. Use Inventory Search tool to adjust inventory down in appropriate container.
    2. Tear up remaining labels.
  6. NOT ENOUGH LABELS — Physical quantity was greater than logical quantity.
    1. Bring unlabeled product back to workstation.
    2. Using Inventory Search, gain additional quantity.
