Prerequisites to Activate POS

RetailOps 2.0 includes a full-featured POS tool for traditional brick-and-mortar stores. If you are interested in activating the RetailOps POS, please see below for a summary of required hardware and steps.

Required Hardware

To set up RetailOps POS for your store, you will need the following hardware. Please refer to our Supported Peripheral Hardware article for more info:

  • certified scanners
  • cash drawers
  • magstripe readers
  • thermal receipt printers
  • label printers
  • at least 1 PC computer (for RetailOps Connect)

Store Facility/Zone Configuration

Your RetailOps instance will need to be configured to add either a new facility or a new zone within an existing facility for your store. Please contact RetailOps Support to have this configured.

Store Address and Hours

Please send your store address and business hours to RetailOps Support.
