In the Quick Receive tool, I'm getting a fatal error asking for the weight of the lot. What does it mean and what can I do to fix it?

We tried to use the Quick Receive tool and hit a problem. Here are the steps we took:

  1. Opened the Quick Receive tool.
  2. Manually entered the PO.
  3. Scanned the item.
  4. Entered the quantity to receive.
  5. Scanned the bin location to receive to, and got a fatal error asking for the weight of the lot.

What does this error mean and how do we fix it?

What's happening is the QR tool is trying to pull up the most recent lot weight for the product you are scanning/entering. However, you seem to have lots without assigned weights in your system.

What can be done is a default weight could be entered for these lots on the backend to avoid this error. Please contact RetailOps Support to complete this task.
